Entry Level Landscape Architect/ Designer

The ideal candidate for this position has a four year degree in Landscape Architecture or Horticulture (Residential Landscape Design), strong AutoCAD skills, and computer rendering skills.  This position involves working closely with the senior landscape designer to assist as needed with; site surveys, rough concepts, client meetings, concept plans, preliminary budget studies, drafting final plans and details in AutoCAD, hardscape material selection, plant selection, subcontractor relationships, proposals, permits, project timelines, layout plans, site layouts for installation, site visits to supervise installation, project documentation, as-built drawings, warranty visits, site photography, award entries, website and social media updates, marketing materials, and representing Greenhaven in professional associations. The candidate must be a good listener, strong communicator, professional, conscientious, creative problem solver, detail oriented, organized, good follow-through, independent, and a team player in order to meet the high expectations of our clientele.  We are also a family-oriented company with limited Saturdays.  This is a full time position and the benefits include a competitive salary, paid holidays, paid vacation, paid winter shutdown, health & dental insurance, retirement plan, and a positive career-oriented environment.

 

Maintenance Foremen

 

This position requires a minimum of two years of experience in landscape maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to drive a truck and trailer. It also requires a competency or the ability to learn proper horticultural and maintenance practices including seasonal flower displays, mulching, dormant pruning, etc. The ability to speak English and Spanish are a plus. This position is seasonal and benefits include competitive wages, paid holidays, paid vacation, and growth opportunities within the company.

 

Construction & Maintenance Sub-Foremen

Sub-Foremen positions require a valid Drivers License, one year of experience, and the ability to speak English and Spanish preferred.  Some responsibilities include assisting the Foreman with job site details, learning daily activities, and running the crew if the Foreman is sick or on vacation.  Sub-Foreman positions are a great opportunity for self motivated individuals to learn from senior level foremen within our company and grow with us.  Benefits include competitive wages and growth opportunities within the company.
